jd73's electrio: pyramid
Francisco Espregueira
Dan Goldman (a.k.a. JD73) is not a new name for the contemporary jazz fusion fans. On Pyramid, his new album released by Atjazz Record Company, he is backed up by Hamlet Luton (on bass) and Gordon Kilroy (on drums) to form the JD73’s Electrio and deliver eight smooth compositions. Pyramid takes us into a colourful & energetic live recording session, in which every musician has the space to shine.
Known for his contributions to the world of jazz & modern electronic soul music, Dan’s ability is untouched. Together with his bandmates, he constructs incredible melodic gems centered on the sound of the Rhodes piano with apparent ease and flow. Pyramid is a real collectors album and if you're a fan of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Bob James or George Duke you need this on your record shelf for sure. The album is available for purchase via Bandcamp, courtesy of Atjazz Record Company.
