About to drop on the Phuture Shock Musik, M41 EP is Manchester-based Szajna debut solo project. Making waves on the underground bruk movement for a couple of years, the M41 EP renders a snapshot of Szajna’s off-kilter production style within three original tracks; merging the funky rhythmic structures of broken beat and 2-step garage with cheeky doses of avant-pop melodicism. Homages to the heavy bass lineage of the UK underground are well present on this one. Coming out on friday, M41 will be available in vinyl and can be pre-ordered.
