Following the surprising Midnight Movie EP, Shunaji presents her new project: Blue Melon. Intentionally presenting a self-reflective body of work. she expands her music production skills incorporating live instrumentation. Keeping that most rare, vital quality, in an MC intact: a distinctive, ear-pricking sense of flow.

Inspired by electronic music, trip-hop and abstract hip hop, Shunaji blends synth sounds and everyday-life samples to generate genre-bending tracks. Over eight months, Blue Melon was created into the idea of being other than what appears to the outside world, challenging common assumptions about continuity in music creation.
