Voiciii is the fantastic third album from the Voilaaa project created by the legendary Bruno Hovart, once again curated by the Paris-based Favorite Recordings. Also known as Patchworks, Uptown Funk Empire, Mr President, The Dynamics and by other monikers, Hovart’s work of more than 25 years is a time-travellin’ déja-vu experience. Across 14 tracks this new LP showcases strong dancefloor-friendly festive bangers, irresistible funky arrangements and an undeniable sense of humor and irony; all of which ingredients that Hovart never fails to present.

Since the release of Voilaaa’s previous LP’s Des Promesses and On Te L’Avait Dit and their massive international support, the Voilaaa Soundsystem traveled around the world, delivering its message of infectious joy and groove. Voiciii is an immersive dip into an Afro-Disco universe with unstoppable energy and musicality. It is also an occasion to pay tributes to major artists of the African sound, such as Fela Kuti (on “Water No Get Enemy”), or Manu Dibango (“Manu Écoute Ça” and “Tenor Jam For Manu”). Accompanied by supreme supporting talent - Pat Kalla, Lass, David Walters and Boris Pokora are just some of the names involved in this project -, Bruno Hovart leads the party ahead towards warmer times.
