See this content in the original post

The musical connection between Deborah Jordan and Kieron Ifill (a.k.a. K15) stretches as far back as Jordan's sophomore album release What You See (2011). K15’s productions, immediately identifiable, have become a firm staple within her music, giving a contemporary jazz electronica background to the mesmerizing vocal work by Jordan. Released by Futuristica Music, HUMAN is their long-awaited full project exploring concepts of our own humanity while attempting to address what does in fact make each of us human. Composed by 12 tracks, this is one of the most relevant musical works for 2022, embracing the geniality of two of the most accomplished musicians of the era we live in. They are certainly not the most famous, but what does that mean anyways…

HUMAN is the meeting of these two musical minds, undertaking a deeply spiritual exploration on what it is to be human. Through 12 tracks, Deborah Jordan and K15 embrace an extensive array of styles that both of them have been exploring in their respective careers, delving into emotions like fear, grief, remorse and love. The album faces these feelings with honesty and deepness with K15’s masterful production sounding both sparse and intricate affording Jordan's typically incredible vocal the appropriate space to explore these sonic soundscapes in her own inimitable way. Dropping tomorrow on vinyl, HUMAN fits like a glove into Futuristica’s motto: “Music For Alternative Souls”. A superlative music album that we’ll be revisiting for as long as we can.
