Byron the Aquarius is back and stronger than ever with the first release on his new label TALKNOI$E. Shroomz, Guns And Roses is a futuristic take on afro-american electronic music, filled with bold elements that stem from his roots in hip hop, deep house and techno. The 5-track EP was born out of the pandemic - a time when Byron felt deep in nature and the studying of zen.
The title refers to Byron’s experiences with mushrooms that helped him find a new balance. “Guns” and “Roses” represent the violence that sweeps across the U.S.A. with the peace of mind a rose can bring as an equilibrium in life. Music is that rose, whatever the genre and production method used, for the acclaimed producer. His unconventional choices in instrumentation, exploring an array of beautiful-sounding synthesizers and drum machines, are exposed in Shroomz, Guns And Roses with a sincere touch of emotion. The groove, as per usual in his productions, rises to ‘illegal’ levels and King Byron keeps delivering some of the best underground contemporary music out there. Available in vinyl, via TALKNOI$E.
