Hailing from Paraguay, Chino Corvalán is a talent to keep under close watch if you’re into contemporary jazz. The young musician, composer and producer just dropped a mesmerizing record via Urban Waves, entitled Endless Era. The album sits in the crossoroads of jazz, hip hop and electronic textures, with every element completely engaged in the moment of creation. For this gem invited a lot of his musician friends from all around the world to perform and record the songs that Corvalán wrote.
The inception of the record goes back to the end of the pandemic, with deep involvement from friends Telemakus and Ted Taforo, connecting over the same way of looking into the process of music creation. Endless Era represents an age of spiritual elevation in the form of contemporary, modern, free jazz. As a live performer and stage musician Chino learned a lot of different instruments and express himself with music in a natural way. This album is his most ambitious project to date including 18 songs that will impress and please all the fans of the genre. Endless Era sounds like it will age very well.
