Dropping tomorrow, Eclectic Beats Music’s third release features Portuguese producer and head of the label, Rui Fradinho, and legendary Colonel Red on vocals. Following two previous stellar EP’s - A Bright Future, by Fradinho himself, and the self-titled Afro Bruk Band - Much We Have EP is a jazzy, soulful, funky Broken Beat record that features tasty remixes of the title track. Here, Colonel Red’s voice takes Fradinho’s production skills to a higher level, through several soulful layers and vocalizations in an energetic and groovy affair.
Inkswel, Daz-I-Kue and Born74 are invited to give their own interpretations of “Much We Have”, and the result is an EP that, although based in one song, provides a cool diversity of drum progressions, bassline grooves and use of Colonel Red’s vocals. We had the pleasure of premiering three tracks on this release, but we would’ve share it anyway. Fradinho is a talented producer and DJ making and showcasing real music for real listeners. Eclectic Beats Music is an act that has been always inspiring to us. Much We Have EP is available on vinyl, for the bruk collectors.
