Hailing from Porto, João Amorim is a young and promising producer & DJ, going by the name of CUBALIBRE. A while back we came across some of his tracks and DJ Sets and we were swift to reach him and get his grooves selection on our platform. We saved him the special spot of hosting our end of summer Guest MIX, knowing he wouldn’t disappoint. The sun falls deeper than ever in the horizon and the night starts with strong freedom rotations.
Following releases on Bayres, Select Records and the Sun Goes Down EP via Borderline Black, CUBALIBRE is set to be a new name in the upcoming Portuguese electronic scene. On Freedom Rotations, he delivers some salty powders of his current influences, having commanding the decks at a series of sunset parties at LIFT, one of Porto’s finest music spots. We’re proud to have him here with us.
