While in Europe we already cope with a cold winter, Lysia Vani breezes through with warmth, soul and high-karat-gold grooves in O Sótão’s Guest MIX #20. Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, the DJ and musical researcher is one of the up and coming house music selectors in the Brazilian scene. Her sets are filled with nu-jazz tendencies, afro-brazilian textures and this blend of vintage finesse and contemporary edge. Party vibes all throughout.
Lysia Vani has been cementing her status in Rio and southern Bahia, assuming host duties in places where, most probably, the vibes are way up there. Since 2020, she also released a couple of tracks on her Soundcloud page that left us dripping for more. And for us, much warmer after listening to her Guest MIX, is a deep pleasure to welcome her selections in our humble platform.
