Chapter Three: The Final Round is the final installment in the acclaimed Jazzvolution trilogy, curated by Amsterdam-based The Find Magazine, this time around celebrating the launch of their new label Rucksack Records. The third chapter follows the spirit of its predecessors, showcasing experiments in jazz-influenced hip hop and bringing together a cast that blends celebrated producers with names that need more attention.
With Dexter, Dr. Dundiff, Marcus D, BudaMunk, A Cat Called Fritz, Nautilus, The Natural Yogurt Band and others on the boards, Chapter Three: The Final Round runs smoothly in the sublime production choice of its collaborators. Samples, beatmaking, instrumentation and homages of the highest quality. The record is dropping tomorrow through a collaboration with HHV in a limited edition of 300 vinyls.
100% of the revenue of Jazzvolution 1, 2 & 3 via digital sales on the label’s Bandcamp till June 15th will be given to Reclaim The Block, a community-driven organization with the aim to divest from policing and invest in long-term solutions to keep communities of color safe and healthy, while fighting injustice, racism & police violence.
