The first vinyl release of the Rewind LTD imprint features one of our favorite up and coming house producers in European soul - Jeff The Fool. I’m Not Jeff EP includes 3 original cuts and 3 remixes of Crowd Control, Wilt and Ghetto 25, three friends that complement well the magnificent fusion of jazz, funk and house provided by the Parisian.
We’ve been coming across Jeff The Fool’s productions for some time, and this record showcases his love for smooth and melodic deep house motifs. The recurrent themes in his work are recognizable, with influences explicitly and implicitly present throughout the three originals. Having honed this style, making use of well chosen samples and analog synthesizers, Jeff The Fool cements his status with a record that sounds on point.
