Jon Dixon keeps his strong streak of mesmerizing releases, affirming his status as one of the most respected and talented names in the house music realm. Almost a year after since the Detroit Get Down EP, that made its rounds all over the world, Dixon is back with a new EP entitled Vocal Sessions Vol. 1, featuring two of Detroit's finest vocalists - L’Renee and Kenny Watson.
Both bring their unique voices to Jon’s masterful production, delivering once again his own brand of Detroit-esque jazzy house - the style he’s known for. Freerange Records and acclaimed producer Jimpster also lends a hand with an incredible remix, while DIxon alter-ego, minorINVENTION, deconstructs the first track of the record. To finish things up, Brixton is the man in charge of a smooth take on “I Keep Falling”. The Vocal Sessions Vol. 1 is the first EP featuring some of Jon’s favorite vocalists.
