Giulio Marelli, a.k.a. Knuckle G, returns to production duties, partnering up again with De La Groove. This return, entitled Tales Of G, marks his debut in the full-length formats and presents 8 original tracks. Taking a dip into deep house music, the record draws inspiration from the greats. This includes plenty of nods towards the sounds of New York, New Jersey and Chicago in the 1990s - as well as nods towards French touch, disco-house and premium Italo-house.
Tales Of G surrounds us with positivity and countless dancefloor sensations. The colorful tones of the album come alive from the moment we press play, with thumping kicks and mellow keys section elevating us to higher altitudes. All of this is complemented with an excellent choice of samples that reference soul music, jazz, funk, boogie and all that 70’s/80’s party paraphernalia.
