Belgian producer Krewcial breaks new ground with his debut on Local Talk, Second Life EP, Pt. 1. Stepping away from his usual disco and soulful house sounds, Krewcial delivers a unique blend of live jazz featuring real musicians, seamlessly intertwined with synchronized house rhythms.
The EP opens with "Brooklyn Affair," a thumping house jam with an old-school 80s vibe, elevated by a captivating jazz piano theme. "Elaboritz" takes a deeper house turn, layering lush Fender chords and vibrant vibraphones with soaring flute melodies. The EP concludes with "Roll Call," a heartfelt downtempo jazz tribute to Krewcial's artistic inspirations. Featuring Krewcial himself on vocals, the track reimagines Rick Holmes' "Remember to Remember”. Second Life EP, Pt. 1 is available on Bandcamp.
