Soul Quest Records returns with its second release, SQR002, featuring the talented Max Sinàl and a group of exceptional collaborators. This two-track bomb is a radiant offering for those in search of sonic sunshine and smooth vibes conveying endless, charming, decadent sunsets. On this one, Sinàl teams up with emerging vocal talent and pianist Hutch The Great, jazz trumpeter Mark Crown, and London-based poet, Melodi Marsh. Together they deliver a blend of neo-soul-infused deep house music, never looking away from those jazzy textures you’ll feel when pressing play.
"Let Your Hair Down" is a silky and heartfelt composition. The delicate vocals, accompanied by lush keyboard and piano melodies, blend seamlessly with an irresistible bassline. "Let You In," continues the journey with another steady house jam, showcasing the magical keys of Hutch and his velvety vocals. Adding an extra layer of depth, London-based poet Melodi Marsh contributes spoken word poetry that tells a captivating story of a significant other hiding away. SQR002 follows up on (drumroll…) SQR001, released back in March. Both EP’s indicating that Max Sinàl might have more up his sleeve. We hope so. Available on vinyl.
