Aterral’s eighth release presents Nephews and their 3-track EP entitled Alternate. Following the incredible collaborative release on Ltd, W/Lbl with Retromigration, the duo takes the stage, polishing some of the ideas that enchanted us. In Alternate, the Berlin-Beirut joint venture lays down two original tunes that open up a spectrum of striking stylistic variety.
Opener "Alternate" builds its chord-driven splendour on an utmost sophisticated take on Electro, while "Oasis" displays them at their best, crafting sample-laden soulful house music, glowing with deepness and positivity. As a congenial conclusion, the ever busy and always thrilling Harrison BDP opens up about his perspectives on "Alternate", revising the beat and adding some Dub leaning nuances.
