Pablo Valentino graces us with soulful and funky house music extravaganza on his latest EP, Rua de Cimo do Muro. Released under Handy Records, this four-tracker showcases his sensibility for the craft, developed over a strong career as a producer (evident in his discography) and DJ. The title track sets the tone for tonight, with Mangabey's vocals, guitars, and piano seamlessly blending into a catchy and uplifting rhythm. The one and only Kai Alcé takes the remix duties, adding his touch of magic by infusing the track with additional percussion and drums, creating a deeper and mesmerizing vibe.
The B-side of the EP takes us on a journey through Valentino's artistic versatility. “My Fucked Up Left Ear” unveils a jazzy and broken beat affair, blending intricate rhythms with soulful elements. And just when you think you've experienced it all, “Not Yet” emerges as a minimal and hypnotic roller, ivinting us to immerse in Valentino’s sonic trip.
