Rela and Beka Gochiashvili fly from the sunny Australia to the snow in Amsterdam to present the soulful Amsterdam Beat Tape - an experimental fusion of moods that combines elements of hip hop, r&b, soul and electronic beats. The Australian-Filipino Rela is more than just a beat maker. He is a student of music and a hip hop historian. He is known throughout the cosmos of the independent hip hop scene for his drum grooves, laid back soul and experimental space loops. Forever evolving through different patterns and sounds, channeling frequencies from beyond. Beka Goschiavili, originally from Georgia, is one of the world’s greatest young Jazz prodigies. From playing jazz clubs in Tbilisi at he age of 10 to touring with Stanley Clarke at the age of 16, Beka has really made a name for himself amongst the international jazz community. Together they create the unique Amsterdam Beat Tape - with layers of smooth neo soul chords over groovy drums; with mind bending jazz solos to electronic beats; with out of this world drum patterns.
