Retromigration has become one of our favorite producers in the last year. His releases via Healthy Scratch, GLBDOM, Ravanelli Disco Club and Ltd, W/Lbl (with Nephews) had an impact, and the Amsterdam-based producer is starting to build a good reputation, based on his trademark sound - groovy, soulful, jazzy house music. He returns to Aterral, a label from Berlin that had him in its first release, collaborating with Carlo in the Estasi EP. Now it's his turn of handling an entire EP. He has been keeping a rather low profile, letting his music speak for himself. In Early Pale Retromigration lays down three cuts of deep, jazzy, soulful, splendorous house music. Like in previous projects, he does it effortlessly, intuitively, so musically refined and so instantly buzzing with verve and energy.
