Seamlessly blending elements from different genres and crafting a cohesive sonic experience, the album opens with three tracks that pay homage to jazz, each presented in a unique style. From the hazy beats of “Kunta” to the broken beat and drum and bass fusion in “Formant,” and the off-kilter house vibes of “Be Someone,” Retromigration sets the stage for a diverse and captivating listening experience.
