We dig Roberta’s productions. A lot. And it’s with high expectations that we wait for her new releases, this time presenting a collaborative effort with Fawziyya Heart on Night Moves Records entitled Take Our Time. An ultra-depthy broken house production, this is a seeming exercise in how many top frequencies one can lop off, yet still use in service a sense of excitement in stasis. Drawing inspiration from iconic acts like Moloko and Smith & Mighty from the 1990s the single seamlessly fuses soulful vocals and hypnotic beats, inviting us to immerse in a world where time stands still, and every note resonates with emotion.
