Uma agridoce melancolia que é deixada em 8 longas faixas cheias de jazz com toques aqui e ali de hip hop e soul, a fazerem lembrar o mestre Robert Glasper. Criado à volta de conversas que nutrem a alma, Alfa Mist mistura neste álbum, verdadeiramente poderoso, as suas influências.
De "Antiphon" retiro para aqui as três que mais marcaram as primeiras audições, sabendo que o valor do mesmo está na reprodução ininterrupta das oito músicas que o compõem. A primeira introduz o estilo transversal ao álbum, com a melancolia, tão sua, presente em dez minutos edificantes. "Keep On" leva a que, na minha imaginação, chova lá fora e que as gotas escorram pela janela...
"Potential" segue uma conversa que aborda família, relações e crescimento pessoal. O instrumental tem umas vozes que vão acentuando a emoção enquanto a escuto. Essa já tem um lugar aqui neste Sótão... Para que não me esqueça de voltar a ela. A sexta, "Kyoki", é companhia para a alma vagabunda, que se arruma pouco a pouco, enquanto toca. Outro exemplo de harmonia irrepreensível entre os instrumentos.
Com um belíssimo "Antiphon", Alfa Mist chegou-me para os últimos dias, sabendo que muito haverá por descobrir nos cantinhos das suas composições. Em baixo a totalidade de um dos melhores álbuns que tive a oportunidade de ouvir desde o início do ano. Enjoy.
