Glasgow's maestro of house, Tiptoes, unleashes a scorching EP titled Record Business as his triumphant third outing on SlothBoogie. Following, Good Vibes Incoming EP (2021) and The Akai Samurai Strikes Again EP (2022), this EP has been highly anticipated ever since the track’s electrifying debut during one of SlothBoogie's infamous 24-hour soirées at Berlin's Sisyphos.
Record Business EP kicks off with the title-track - a high-energy filtered house anthem that has become a favorite among DJs for its infectious groove and unforgettable melodies. “Call Me" keeps the party going with its Motown-inspired loops, lively brass stabs, and a vocal sample that adds a playful storytelling element to the track. The A-side reaches its peak with "Food," a deep house gem that weaves hypnotic tonal loops with tribal rhythms. Flipping to the B-side, Tiptoes delves into deeper sonic territories. "Brothers & Sisters" immerses listeners in a dreamy haze of head-nodding beats, while "It's Only Love" showcases Motor City influences, blending soulful fragments of ethereal KDJ-inspired vocals and groovy, low-slung beats.
