Bussin’ is Orlando-born Devin Morrison's first solo album, an ill mix of flavors with eclectic inspirations rooted in 90's r&b, gospel and funk. The release comes on Parisian producer Onra‘s label NBN Records. Nothing short of talent, Devin has composed, produced and played the whole album, inviting a selection of special guests along for this sweet ride: Joyce Wrice, Ace Hashimoto, Daz Dillinger are some of them.
If anyone from Florida tells you that something is “Bussin”, it simply means that it’s tasty. Devin Morrison’s debut is exactçy that. Fresh-squeezed harmonies on slow jams, head-nodding D’Angelo-like beats, G-Funk infused bangers, while Morrison effortlessly provides measured doses of his vocal prowess. Slick and contagious, smooth and addictive, Bussin’ is something we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on. Newly released on NBN Records, the album is available in CD and cassette.
