Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, the multi-instrumentalist is a celebrated producer, quick in approaching different genres under his own trademark.
DJ Harrison reimagines decades of soul, funk, rock, r&b, hip hop, and other subgenres of Afro-American music, striving for personal peace despite centuries of racial injustice. Warmth, syrupy neo-soul descended Voodoo-era D’Angelo, soulful gothic folk, futuristic disco, breakbeats and rubbery basslines, spaced-out hip hop - elements that the producer is able to pack into an amazing work.
