waldo's gift: improvisations

December, 2018. Bristol, UK. On the spot, unleashing creativity, the Waldo’s Gift trio dives deep into the concept of Improvisations, their debut project released this month. During seven tracks, the band takes us into a genre-crossing voyage, letting the raw energy of each member to come alive organically. Indebted to jazz spirits, the guitar, drums and bass trio discovers an innovative sound, as they play, as they feel.
Formed in 2017, Waldo’s Gift have been playing shows with Holysseus Fly (the voice behind Feelgood Experiment, another associated project hailing from Bristol) painting their sound to canvas. The beautiful artwork for Improvisations was created simultaneously, as the band expressed their musical emotions in the moment - without overdubs or edits. Available on digital formats and CD, via Astral Tusk, Improvisations is a demonstration of talent in the pure sense of the word.
