A Chillhop é uma plataforma originária de Amesterdão dedicada a encontrar e a compartilhar alguns dos melhores produtores de hip hop, jazzhop e triphop. Ao longo dos últimos anos, e por estações do ano, foi editando álbuns que compilam faixas de vários artistas pouco conhecidos que jogam nesses estilos.
A colecção Primavera 2018 junta vinte duas produções de vinte e dois artistas diferentes. Entre eles: FloFilz, Ruck P, OTESLA, Joe Corfield, Psalm//Trees, Juan Rios, etc, etc. Tudo gente conhecida deste sótão. O álbum segue por inteiro no fim do post. Saiu hoje, estando disponível em formato vinil também. Destaco as lindas flores dos mestres FloFilz e Joe Corfield. "Blue Orchard" e "Wildflower" de introdução. Enjoy.

Durante este mês, "Ra", do americano CoryaYo, foi tocando. Saboreada a sua onda e o seu je ne sais quoi de misticismo, chegou a altura de o expôr nas paredes deste sótão. Criado a partir de uma colecção de beats feitas especificamente para dar umas voltas de carro, tudo bateu certo para CoryaYo durante o verão de '17, quando este criou a arte que viria a ser a cara e título deste trabalho - "Ra". Luz e maturidade artística sobressaltam.
Treze faixas que escutadas sucessivamente nos fazem mais sentido - por serem consistentes em termos de sons, mas, sobretudo, por convidarem a uma viagem. Mais suave ou mais sinuosa. De dia ou de noite. Provavelmente, de carro. O primeiro lançamento de CoryaYo em vinil foi, durante meses, disfrutado apenas pelo próprio e seus próximos. Hoje o privilégio é de todos.
